I hope we don't get the same contractors and architect at Oakwell for the new West Stand. It doesn't run the length of the pitch and the roof only covers the upper tier. What an ice hoare?

No rooves on dugouts either. Players and coaches getting p15s wet through.

My instincts tell me not to worry too much about a new stand.

Will we need one? We could hide all the mini skirts and fongs in the rubble.

I keep saying it, a wraparound from same level as Ponty to North stand, would look brilliant

The ground is already too big for us. If we did that we’d be looking at 26k capacity which just isn’t needed. It’s the main reason the atmosphere is so poor….

A Stand just running length of pitch. The wooden upper tier demolishing and rebuilt to incorporate the perimeter wall and turnstiles. The existing lower tier left as it is but extending to the VW corner with safe standing. Also the roof extending to the pitch side.

It wouldn't cost the earth and you could still use the lower tier where the majority of diesel hards sit.

Is it though, because with 11000+ in the ground,a good performance and result always produces a great atmosphere. That tells me it’s about what happens on the pitch rather than attendance.

Well they are the owners of the club, and they were all part of the set up when Conway did what he did, to put us in this position.
Who else then should be responsible for plugging these financial gaps, us fans ?.
I still don't know what if any ambitions they have for the future of this club. And have we moved an inch forward as a club during their reign.
We had the Val and Duff seasons which showed great promise, and there was the opportunity to build on getting to the Play offs. But on both occasions, they got their machetes out and chopped away at the green shoots of recovery!.

The season after Val, Conway was still at the helm so has absolutely nothing to do with JAQ and Neerav.

The season after Duff is this season, where we're currently on more points than we were under Duff at the same stage. So I'm not quite sure which "machetes" you're on about, unless it's not splashing about cash that we don't actually have.
