Having watched the bulk of the Euros and knowing of the interest in Pogba am I alone in thinking he's massively overrated?

You're not alone. I watched all France matches and I wouldn't pay more than £30 million for him.

When leicester are turning down 20 odd million for Deeney, Benteke's worth 30 odd million Lukaku being branded about at 60 millions and even after his poor season, Stones is still seen as 50+ million, I think it's fair to expect you won't get somebody for a reasonable price these days. I do think it will pay off though if he's there for another 10 years plus, and despite his poor international appearances this tournament (there's been plenty, i.e muller and Gotze to name but 2 big names) he has been one of the best players in the last few years. 100 Million is a ridiculous price for any player though

I really don't understand the hype, he's obviously talented but he's no Pirlo or Zidane is he?

Totally different player for Juventus and utilised in a different way. The role he plays for France doesn't fit his qualities and he looked fairly average.

The driving force behind Juventus who are one of the top four teams in club football.

Scary money mate... though I'd have no doubt Man U, Psg, Madrid or City would cough up near enough those amounts! Not to mention what his wages would cost!

Wish we could find a link for him to our Academy, with a 15% sell on clause.

Dont see anything in him that makes me think he's any better than Barkley or Alli. Whenever I watch Juve im completely underwhelmed by him.

You'll see this season if he joins United; as long as they use him correctly.

Sir Alex wasn't stupid, he got rid for a reason.
He couldn't cope with the physicality of the Euro's, and he wouldn't cope with the premier league. He might be worth £100 million to Italian clubs due to their style of play, but he isn't worth any more than £20 million to Premier league teams.

Totally agree. Veron was amazing in Italy!!!

He's a decent Italian league player.

He left Manchester United due to his wage demands, nothing to do with his ability.

The way that France used Pogba to sit deep and control the midfield wasn't how he should be used. For Juve he sits higher up the pitch just behind the strikers and controls things from there. It'd be like Cristiano Ronaldo scoring for fun for Real Madrid but then is used as a RWB for Portugal and people doubting his ability.

He left United because he wasn't get picked regularly enough, and as LDRed said he didn't get the wages he wanted. As soon as Raiola appeared, all talks broke down. Even Fergie mentions it. And I believe Rafael got played in Midfield over him which he didn't like

I can't say I'm an expert on him because I don't watch the Italian league but from seeing him for France & in the champions league he goes missing way too often, if you're talking £100m you need a player, especially a central midfielder that takes a game by the scruff of the neck & runs it.

I've heard a few journos say he's the same in the league. If I was a Juve fan I'd be much more worried about losing Bonucci

He only got moved to that position later on in the tournament after failing to impress further forward against weak sides

    I'd much rather have Payet.
