Point about Chopra and an issue from Leeds game....

Chopra was shown a red for 'an incident in the tunnel' after the game at QPR. Anyone know what happened? That's his season over now, I guess!

Also, anyone seen the full incident in which Thompson was sent off at Southampton. I understood from first tv versions that it had been a mass brawl, but the highlights only showed Thompson wrestling Jones to the ground. Could Leeds and Southampton faced fines, or was it just a sending off?

 

think Leeds may face a fine because their fans were booing Southampton's black players.

 

Looking on other boards though Leeds fans are saying they were booing the player that Thompson got involved with, as you might boo a player you thought got yours sent off, rather than because they were black.

Mind you, they also said that Thompson was just trying to stop one of his players getting involved yet Thompson made an awful tackle and then grabbed a Southampton player round the throat - strange way to stop your own player!

 

the talk sport reporter at the game must have been stereotyping then.
