After looking at the league table, although comfortable at the moment, we are only 7 points above the drop zone. The way this league is panning out it is a position wherewe could do with a couple of wins just to lift us back in the comfort zone.
Well we are long overdue a win Now in the longest winless run since Davey took over a combination of bad luck and poor play. Every team has a bad run - just hoping this is ours Really need a win against Norwich as we wont get owt at QPR.Even we should beat Colchester though. If we can pick up 6 points from next 3 games it will be ship steadied
Didn't Colchester win at Charlton? I don't think you can predict the outcome of many games in this league. Didn't see QPR winning at Watford, or West Brom losing at the weekend, or Watford going to Southampton and beating them so easily. It's a strange division this year. I can see us winning our next 4 games as much as I can see us losing them.
True We could lose the next 4 - I could even see us winning 3 out of the next 4 but we wont get anything at Loftus Road we never do Havent even scored there this century and nearly 60 years since our only win. RE: True Trying to remain as optimistic as I can about QPR as it'll only be my second appearance of the season, but judging by the run they're on, and the signings they plan to make, we will struggle more than ever. Depends which Barnsley team turns up on the day, we need to beat Backpool, we need to beat Colchester, and we need one win from Norwich and QPR, or at least two draws.
it is................ statistically very very unlikely that such a poor record is down to random chance-so what is it about Loftus Road?
RE: it is................ More recently its been down to us being absolutely shocking! We had a fair side last year but it wasn't nearly as good as this years. We just had a shocker there last year, it was one of the worst games I saw last season in terms of our peformance.
Before that our games were in League One when they were flying high (and promoted) whilst we were p*ssing about losing 4-0 on a Tuesday night with Lee Crooks up front. No matter what happens when we go there this month, nothing will ever beTHAT bad.
Before that I can't really comment as I didn't get to the games. But I do believe its down to our own ineptitude when playing away against them (possibly at the wrong time), rather than some mystical problem with their ground.
I mean look at this season, they've been abolsutely shocking. Then they get a new manager, several new players and a few billion floating around, and all thisbefore we've even played em once! And we're more than half way thru the season so we've reason to feel unlucky.
The run will continue I am sure. Can't see us getting owt a week on saturday.

Ugh, DB - brings back bad memories of last Christmas! you know... the ball slipping under Colgan's body like that :-( With it being 19th Jan, we can only hope that history doesn't repeat itself, cos it just couldn't happen with Supa-Moola in goal!!!
