Points needed to reach the playoffs

Based on the first half of the season, it looks like it's going to be a huge total. If the second half mirrors the first, it'll be 80 points - the same amount that we finished second on in 1997. A very big ask. Can't believe Wendys won again yesterday.

 

over the last several seasons

the mid 70's have got a play off slot. I think 75+ will get a slot this term... As for us I think we will be in the 65 to 70 point bracket. Ok that will most likely not be a play off spot, but it would be a top half and likely a top 10 finish. I for one would have certainly taken that at the start of the season if asked ....and I would do now.

I think a top 10 finish would be a very good season, of course its within us to make the play offs, just depends what the transfer window brings.

Ha! I could be very negative, and point out that in all probability we only need another seven or eight points to be safe from relegation!

More than we will get. No disrespect but we play every game at full tilt and we will lose as many as we win. It's great entertainment and I wouldn't have it any other way.
