Sorry to be positive here, but I for one looked at our fixtures before the league started and thought "forget about the pre-season, I can't see us picking up many points ( if any) until the Watford game". I know it's not great football yet, but we've got more points than I expected and there's a long way to go yet .... I've supported the reds for 40 years and i'm not gonna stop now
I remember before the season started A discussiion on the old board about how many points we could expect in August The general consensus was 4 points was a realistic target any more than that would be a real result, and less a distinct possibility we were hoping for a win and a draw from our 2 home games and nothing from the away fixtures.OK we did it the other way round but no matter how we do at the New Den we have already achieved the points total Does make the over the top negativity a little surprising
Agree, i think August and September are tough months but October, November and December should be productive months. Be nice if we can keep picking points up away from oakwell. Say 20 points away would be nice.
