Poker - Play For Your Club Type Thing.

We got an email off a poker company who are setting up a play for your club poker league thing, including a free weekly tournament where you can represent Barnsley against other clubs. I take it folks would be interested in us persuing this?</p>

It would also mean that in the even of there only being less than 10 etc the game would still go ahead.</p>

 

Its been done before with Pokerstars...

and it was a massive flop.</p>

the difference with that to the one already set up is that every player would be drawn on different tables so defeating the whole object imho.</p>

Hopefully tonight we will see how it should work with the right number of participants.</p>

 

Be careful with anything like this - chances are it'll be a way for them to get signups on their affiliate link, rather than being a genuine site.

The PokerStars one is a different scenario and is genuine, but I'd be concerned about any other sites offering this type of thing.
