W.Yorkshire police should be ashamed, especially the "im fckin well hard" police dressed in black. Didnt know you could be arrested and put in a cell overnight for "goading" Huddersifeld fans. WTF. Also instead of telling you to walk faster, they decide to punch you in the back of the head and if you smile at them or ask them a question, they grab you by the kneck and threaten to "bang you up". They must enjoy winding fans up so you retaliate and get arrested. Atleast the ones in yellow treat you like human beings. Almost as bad as Greater Manchester police. Anyway rant over. We deserved to win that game but unfortunately Richards/Hayes were unable to finish from 6 yards out, on 2/3 occasions. Strikers should really score from that distance. I thought Kay and Hayes (despite his finishing) were excellent. I dont know why Hayes doesnt run at players more often, he skinned their defence on many occasions with his skill and direct running. If we play like that, we will make the playoffs. We were unlucky. Also i thought our fans were brilliant, would have been amazing if we had scored.
red tyke were u the lad at the back corner of the bus that got into trouble for laughinf n he came right up in your face?
RE: red tyke that guy whos in the army "look, hes got his spare tyre on his lap" to that guy in the van ff. Comedy Genious. I was gonna sing "whos the Barsteward, whos the Barsteward, whos the Barsteward in the black" to that copper who started on the guy at the back. Didnt want a kicking though. Did you see them laying into that fan just outside the ground?
the again.... the half brain along from me decided at final whistle just to stamp and smash the chair in front of him when I asked him why he wouldn't make eye contact and skiddaddled before we could find a steward looked like he was looking fro trouble so I guess the police aren't always dealing with the sweetest people?
RE: the again.... I felt like doing the same after seeing Shuker hit the underside of the bar, the ball rebounding to Richards who miss kicked it from 6 yards, to Hayes who then missed from about 4 yards. (
No need to put up with that..... I was thumped in the back by a copper on Sheffield Railway Station about 7 years ago after a Barnsley-United game. My crime was to stop walking towards the train whilst I had a drink of coffee I was carrying. I turned on him and gave him a right mouth full. He threatened to arrest me and my son who was trying to get me away from him, so I told him I would report him. He challenged me to do it so I did. I wrote a letter to the Chief Constable. You will find that it's the best way to get your complaint heard.
I worked in Chesterfield then and I received a telephone call from South Yorkshire Police. They asked if I would go to Heeley Police Station for a meeting. The first thing the investigating officer, a Superintendant Humphries who told me he was in charge of Police at Oakwell during the Promotion season, said to me after I had told him and an Inspector my story was. Mr Coachman as soon as we read your letter we could picture exactly what had happened. He said I wouldn't be able to claim assault and asked if I wanted to go to the Police Complaints Commission or if I would let him deal with it. He seemed such a reasonable bloke that I said I would let him deal with it. When he interviewed the Copper, the Copper said he was dealing with an unruly football fan. When the Superintendant pointed out to him my age and occupation, and said I wasn't a typical football hooligan the Copper started to back track and then admitted he had been over zealous. He was fined 3 days wages and give a formal warning. The Superintendant also told me SY Police seem to have a problem with Policing football matches. He had another 51 writen complaints on his desk from Tranmere fans who played United the Tuesday after we did. I now accept that the Police will look to cause trouble at Football matches so they can continue to enjoy the double time payments they get. The Police know that if they shove a camera in your face they will provoke a reaction. What other reason can there be for Police to dress like para militaries unless it's to provoke a reaction. I now treat the Police like I would a bunch of hooligans and keep well out of their way.

Top post. I think we need some kind of informal advisory body in place to help victims of police thuggery through the process. Filming them might be a good idea as well.
RE: red tyke yes the army lad who sed that he my best mate bless him. He's based in in Bournemouth for next few weeks but he's coming home for Oldham game
