No,I don't meanstag dos where you dress up as a leader of the state, butpolitics in the Uk.

    Hasthe centershifted?.. I'm confused..

Labour , once party of the people, seem only bothered about makingmoney,(Like old Tory)

Tory , once party of the capitalist, seem more concerned about the welfare of the people(Like old Lib-Lab)( moretax relieffor religiousfamilies who conform to marriage, which means if your not bothered about getting married you pay full whack..19thcentury mentality, can't run a country by a book of religion.. and that)

Lib-dem, still party of the fluffy, but seem more concerened aboutlocal issuses(Like old Labour)Minger, sez he will scrap council tax and replace it with a local income tax, they are gonna put general income tax at 17% and make the rich pay more..

    wtf (dunno) (seestars)

Everything is not as it first seems

especially when uttered by someone with a blue tinge.

Doubtless they have done a grand job of misinformation if that is what you truly believe.

    RE: Well

Yes. Arthur really wanted to ruin Yorkshire.

Shall we debate the wrongs and rights of Sheff Utd's relegation instead as there's more chance of agreement?!

    And then theres Livingstone

    With his plans:

Ken Livingstone is planning to use tax payer's money to build an enormous mosque costing an estimated £100M in the docklands.

Wouldn't it be better to spend the money on a new hospital or improved transport facilities. anything but such a scheme as this:

The mosque will be BIGGER THAN ST PAUL'S!!!

The plan is for the mosque to be so big so that people flying in from all over the world for the 2012Olympics will see it as the biggest landmark in London , bigger than St Pauls, Westminster Abbey or Wembley Stadium.

The vote so far is 56 % in favour.

It looks like the Muslim community in the UK is casting its vote in droves, and as usual the British are burying their heads in the sand...

It is an undemocratic use of British Tax payers money, especially when our Churches that are 100's of years old get no government funding to keep their structures standing, and we are supposedly a Christian Nation.

To vote to "Scrap the 'Mega-Mosque" please sign the official Government petition in the link below.

Watching an interview with David Cameron on Sunday I was thinking similar. I think that, overall, we are now rejecting politics of extreme, and we are going down a more central path, gone are the days of the '60's and '70's when a new government would spend half it's time removing what the previous government did, only for it to get reversed again once they went out of power. As David Cameron said - it's not about saying that you are on the left or right and then positioning your policies around that, but about doing what you think is right regardless of whether that is a traditional right or left stance. Sounds good - whether it transpires that way is another matter.

Sorry - I missed the thing about rewarding "religious families"

    RE: And then theres Livingstone

I've read about that and the ACTUAL reasoning behind it and where the funding comes from....I'll try to hunt it out later but suffice to say it's nothing like that states.

    Strange really

Do a search and you find there are concerns over the funding coming from fundamentalist groups in Saudi Arabia!

So which is it - fundamentalist groups in the Middle East or millions of taxpayers money?!

It should not be given planning permission. These damn mosques do not fit into English cities. I apply for a small extension, and what happens, damn council turn it down.

    how hard can it be....?

four taxes - income tax, profits tax, luxuries tax and environmental tax.

political parties receive campaign funds from central government - no outside funds allowed.

banks only asllowed to lend out what they have in reserve. none of this bloomin' fractional reserve rubbish!!

legalise drugs and prostitution - mmmm, tax money (and several billions wasted fighting an unwinnable war saved!!)

all religious folk, no matter what creed, denomination, persuasion, whatever, should be regarded as legitimate targets for ridicule. nothing nasty, but hey, if you believe that sheiss you deserve at least a little mockery. also, whilever there is acceptance of moderate religious types, it still legitimises the nutters (of any religion)

all, and i measn all photo's in newspapers, magazines etc should carry a warning if there has been any photoshopping or touching up whatsoever.

any other suggestions for my nutty utopia?

*was gonna edit my speeling mistakes (see what i did there?), but can't be bothered. i'm on a stone age pc grrr*
