I may have voted the Smiths on principle

but at the end of the day you might as well have a vote between the Beatles and the bloody Cheeky Girls ffs.

A vote between several of the more recent pretenders, eg. Oasis v Smiths etc. might have proved more telling.

Your question roughly translates to 'Do you like The Smiths - Yes/No'?

 

Since there's no fair way to settle the criteria if you prefer The Smiths then they're better mate.
