..I suspect one of the reasons he wishes to return (if indeed he does wish to return) is that many of his drinking buddies live in Barnsley and Gerry used to have a penchant for a few bevvies.

I remember one particularly poor BH performance at Grimsby...if he was not pissed I'm a dutchman.

Still..got a few goals while at t'well and legendary status...ooh gerry gerry!

Yup , I'll go along with that . Taggart and a solid , no nonsense , reliable left back would suit me . Trouble is , I can't think of any off the top of my head .

Don't get me wrong, in his day he was a good player and he showed the spirit in a Red shirt that's currently lacking, but I don't think him coming back would be a step in the right direction.
