I would just be happy with some progression. We are kidding ourselves if we think we are gonna suddenly start spending millions to get loads of quality players in so it is a matter building slowly. Improve the defence in close season and look to finish in the top part of the bottom half. Anything better is achievement, anything less is failure.
Best to see who we bring in and keep before anyone answers that. Our optimism for next season will be based on the work that happens in pre season. For example based on now if nothing changes between now and next season I will be happy with forth from bottom again. But with teams coming up/down, signing players, giving new contracts to others etc I will probably expect mid table next year. No reason we we cannot do what Colchester did this season.
