Poll - This may seem like a strange question:

But it is not meant to be anything other than gauging people's opinions:

In the exact same situation yesterday morning - which Manager / Chairman combination would you have been more confident of making new signings with?

That wasn't my question though was it.

Can't believe I didn't suggest the Cheri Lunghi one myself.

I think Ritchie was left to ring rarnd on his own

Mr Shepherd was too busy 'taking offence' at some young scamp on the training ground. allegedly.

    without prejudice. or cockart.

    Or ...

... maybe Anderson's mobile battery ran out at 11am?
Just after he'd phoned Scnuthorpe again.

To be honest - If I were the chairman of a large company I would ensure that every single person who said anything even slightly impolite to me would feel the wrath of my legal powers.
Some people may think that I should be concentrating on making my business run better - but no - I would get into petty little arguments with all & sundry over this that & the other.

Maybe my attitude will change when I run my own business & am not a career employee?

I've just written down what I consider to be our best team:

    1. Flinders
    2. Reid
    3. Kell
    4. McPhail
    5. Hayes

Have you worked out where we're going wrong?

The Football League have entered us into the wrong chuffin competition.

    Ah - right.

We had the best Tennis team when Boulding was around too.
And get this (all 'quotes' totally made up):

Matt Carbon, 2003 ''Ballax to this - I don't want to play footy anymore - so I'm going to retire''
Micky Boulding, 2005 ''Ballax to this - I don't want to play footy anymore - so I'm going to retire''

Michael Chopra, 2004 ''I'm too good for this division - I want to go to a club who want me, Newcastle''
Stevie McFrail, 2005 ''I'm too good for this division - I want to go to a club who want me, which is nobody''

Richard Kell, 2005 ''My leg is in bits, but I am keen to prove my worth - I've even been helping out in the canteen''
Marc Richards, 2005 ''My leg is in bits, but I am keen to prove my worth - even though I have played about 8 games in my 297 year career ... so I must be worth 4 months''

Danny Wilson, 1998 ''I'm bloody sick of agents on the phone. I must have had 200 players throwing themselves at me''
Anderson Richtea, 2005 ''My Missus bought me a new mobile phone last week and I can't figure out how to use it. We tried to get players in, but my carrier pigeon method had mixed results ... they flew out of the window, but I forgot to attach a message to their legs''

BFC reserves, 1999 ''The Academy afcilities are brilliant, hats off to the club for having such vision''
BFC reserves, 2005 ''Where the **** did that stand come from?''

    Possibly.

    Add it as an option.
Or, if you are a complete homodeacon, you could start your own poll.

    Yes, I found my pint.
