Mind you, if we continue to lose all our players at the sniff of an offer, I'm pretty sure the crowds will dwindle without Covid.
COVID will come and go (eventually). Managers come and go. Players come and go. This board will come and go. Our town and its love for football won’t. I look forward to the next 15-18k home game against a rival, because it will come. And then we’ll lose in the 90th minute to an arse deflection.
In order to answer No, you'd have to believe that either Covid will destroy the human race, or that we will never play Wednesday again at home. I mean, come on... even if you were the only home fan there, Wednesday would bring at least 50,000.
Nowt like being a bit dramatic. I’m presuming that the people voting no are people who are planning on not attending in the future due to distance/falling out with Conway etc. or are very old/unwell and don’t expect to live for much longer.
Good one! Or change name, maybe the poll should have asked if you expect to go to one at Grove Street.
And let's face it, iFollow may be adequate this season, but if it's a choice of watching iFollow or walking to Oakwell in sub-zero January temperatures to sit in freezing rain for a couple of hours... well, I'd rather spend my money on thermals and waterproofs than an iFollow subscription.
