Being a nosey git, just wondering what happened in the top corner of the Ponty End just before half time. Everyone seemed to be looking at something but then nothing appeared to be happening! The police appeared but didn't get involved. On another note, yet another smoke bomb going off in the away end. Little action seemingly taken. Not that it could have been taken due to the lassiez-faire attitude towards standing in gangways and/or on seats
There was sod all singing from the Ponty End in that top corner, that's for sure. Where were all those lads who went to the Blades game & were crammed into 5 rows at the back insisting on standing?
I've not been for ages. Thought the atmosphere in the Ponty was dire. Thought we did OK for first 20 mins. They had the next 20 and scored in it, which resulted from an unfortunate slip. I thought we did well second half and deserves to win. Winnall should have scored a second but his first touch in the box let him down when he was free. Impressed with Waring and Jabo. Pearson looked ok and we seem to have unearthed a gem in Scowen. Tremendous player. Two aggressive wingers should be at the top of our shopping list.
