We score a great goal and then he obviously says let’s defend for the rest of the game, and then he brings Cole on to top it all. Criminal loss of two so important points.

Can someone explain the logic of having four of our players around the goalie for a goal kick? When we inevitably get pressed, someone hoofs it up the pitch where we are already outnumbered 10 to 6. We had zero shape, play way too deep and are relying on moments of individual skill to score what goals we do score. Game there for the taking tonight if we had a manager who had half a clue.

I'm amazed that a bloke with 3 wins in his last 30 or whatever it is games has proven to be utterly clueless time and time again when it comes to tactics and game management.

Really poor head coach, not good enough.

    Agree.

I wouldn’t have taken Styles off, I thought he was doing well.

Yeah, took two of the more attacking players, and playmaking players off… what a joke.

Not sure about that. He looked our weakest player at the time.

Compensation package aside, in a results driven business, anyone else with 3 wins to his name would have been long gone by now. How many games has he been in charge of ???

Dreadful management. Awful substitutions. I hope we have a relegation release clause in Poyas contract.

The problem is… no team does well constantly changing managers. I’m guessing we’re probably up there for most managers in recent years.

Thought Styles was average again tonight and seems to spend most of the game on his arse and wasn’t surprised when he was subbed for Wolfe.

I'm biased but how Devante Cole gets in before Marshy is beyond me .
Swung a leg for their equaliser.
    Puts in minimum effort .
We got our trousers down giving him a 3 year deal.

I don’t agree. He was getting involved in the game for me. Bassi or Vita would’ve been off before Styles if it was me.

Styles spent most of the game getting caught the wrong side of the Stoke players, meaning he contributed sod all to the game overall. Fight between him and Brittain for being our worst performers today.

I thought he was poor, gave ball away time n time again because he takes an extra touch when he doesn’t have the time to, I actually think at the moment Styles level is with us!,

Absolutely clueless; we defend which leads to the inevitable conceding rather than trying to get a second. So frustrating.

Imho...we just don't have the squad good enough to see games out.
The first 11 are half decent at this level and will give most teams a game for 70 minutes.....then we need to freshen things up and to be honest we have nothing that will strengthen/ threaten.

Hard to imagine him being left out of the squad in the next two games, unless Iseka and Adeboyejo are available. How can he trust Cole now?

On Poya, in general. I find this quote sums him up…

Normal to sit back for so long?!
