From start to finish. No excuses can be made for such an abject display today. Not one player had a good game.
miserable bugger, tha not a reyt fan thee was it that bad mate...or as someone has said it showed up the gaps left in midfield.. Hows Madam too.
Had a feeling this would happen today. Anyway, end of Jan, 36 points on the board, 12 points above the drop zone and only 7 off the top 6. Who wouldn't have taken that in August? Of course, our leaky defence, in particular Jay McEveley and our threadbare squad in general are concerns, but I trust Keith and David to get things sorted, glad we have ten days to regroup before the next game though. Forget about this and move on.
It really was bad, mate As you know, I'm normally an optimistic 'happy clapper', but that was the worst performance I've seen this season.
Luckily, the decent performances have so far outweighed the crap ones by far, even in a lot of the games which we have lost. We'll be fine, will finish just below half-way with around 60 points.
has he had a balanced squad too??? I mean what with injuries and players buggering off? he has not exactly had a steady ship to steer.
Yes we can as long as we keep bouncing back a win against Derby or Watford is entirely possible if not both - we seem very incosistent but 5 more wins from 19 games is all we need I expect more great wins and abject losses as the season progresses
Re: I still believe in this manager If he is ever to be a success then he needs to stop being so pig headed. He cut off his nose today to spite his face and it handed the game to millwall. Four strikers, no doyle, hassell hauled off, addison and perkins alone in midfield and then a panic double substitution. All caused in my opinion by Hills refusal to accept he was wrong
There's no point in wallowing in self pity, we have to get on with it It's difficult to see, though, how many other options the manager had available today. Doyle, perhaps, but few others.
I think we need to be 100% every match to get something in this league. Whenever we drop below that level, we are struggling.
