    Warm with mushy peas is best but I do eat them cold too. You can't beat a proper pork pie; great snack food.

    my mate lived at jump and every friday on afters he was our pie man,straight from percy turners,we used to put them on the transformer down the pit to warm them up for snap time...our deputy said it smelled like Staniforths all over the pit.:cool:

    yeah, not the cheap 4 for a quid crap in the supermarkets, proper ones, Turners, Potters...a blast from the past Albert Hursts.

    Dont know about Oakwell, but they used to sell em hot at Millmoor back in the 70's,you take your lip off then get jelly all down your scarf...oh good times.

    Couldnt remember em at oakwell, I remember when we could get a cup of proper soup at the back of the Ponty not just feckin oxo.It was bloody lovely.
