Port Vale Easter Saturday 1979

I hope we take as many fans to Port Vale as we did at Easter in 1979. With a better result of course. Recognise anyone?

 

I went to that game, but can't see myself on the photo. Mick Williams from Darfield is on it though. Lost 3-2

 

I went down on the service train, rough as hell before the game, we had a special so we got a big police escort back to the station after the game, I remember bricks etc coming at us over the houses ........I was left on the station by myself as the special pulled out.......
