Port Vale's fans view on Marc Richards

Marc Richards has caps for England at U18 and U20 and is described as very hard working,a target man who can hold the ball up and bring others into the game.Richards was key to Barnsley in Division 1 when they went up and has played well and scored in the Championship as he has throughout his career.Maybe not a 20+ goals a season striker but one that will get double figures and make chances for others and help a side play.All this and more...the Barnsley fans seem to rate Richards for his hard work and all round game but say that the one area of his game that could improve is perhaps finishing but as they all agree at 23/24 he is young and has time to improve and get better in that they do not think they have seen the best of a player they regard as having a good future in the game and for all his hard work will become a better and better....the best and most telling quote being that he would be a Premiership striker if he improved his finishing....Time for work Mr Foyle.

they are simply planning for life in the next league down..but wil not admit it.

unfortunately they have not realised that Yorkshire folk aint daft, and can see straight through them.This will show next season when season ticket sales slump.

 

With some expert coaching, 0n finishing, which he may get at Port Vale he could be a 20 plus a season goalscorer. With the lack of support Constantine might get from our midfield, he could become a less than 10 goal scorer with us.
