I'm not sure you could plan a match to play out like that. Nothing was said of it when Joe Hart did it on last day of last season. I'd like to think we'd have gone down with more dignity than to whinge about that - but then again I'm not sure we would have!
Not much they can do because no rules were broken. The ball was in play and it was upto Huddersfield to come challenge for the ball. Anyway we risked it ourselves as if Posh had equalised us wasting a few minutes would have sent us down.
Given it wasn't til a couple of minutes left in our game before they went behind just how could they fix the game? Admittidely according to the radio commentary once news got out that Palace had taken the lead then they appeared to ease up, but that's cause Huddersfield knew they were safe and we weren't going to all out for a winner and leave ourselves open at the back.
I work in Peterborough and it's worth noting that they really can't stand Hudds due to some recent history. No doubt that fuels their thinking on today
