I'm pretty certain 4 more wins out of our 10 remaining games will see us safe. That will put us on 52 points, a win tomorrow night, we have to be looking to beat Forest at home. Maybe 2 away wins, don't see us beating Swansea or Wolves at home and thats all our home games that are left. I think we've got to be looking to beat Watford away and maybe sneak one on Saturday or against the Blunts. I do not want to be going to Plymouth on the last game of the season needing a result, lets just hope it's done and dusted by then. Theres one thing for certain, clench your bums guys; it's gonna be a very, bumpy ride!
last game of season I did that predictor thingy and it came down to last game decider, us n Plymouth equal on points them with a better goal diff, so they need a point we need to win to stay up. I put us down for a win but I had me rosey specs on. I reckon it'll go to the last day, if we're lucky.
RE: last game of season Don't think i could take that S) . Was planning on staying down there for the week too, so it would seriously put a downer on it if we got relegated on that day :'(. EARN YOUR FECKING MONEY AND PROVE ME WRONG. MR.D !!!
RE: last game of season They still have to convince me that they have a win left in them. I think that if we let Blackpool leave Oakwell with three points (at this stage of the season) we might as well fecking close the ground and forget about it. I still can't get over that. The more I look at it, the more I think we're nailed on. It's all very well doing the predictor, but I'd have to lie to myself to fill in any of the results with a win. I don't give a toss what anyone says - that match against Blackpool was a stone cold six pointer and we had to win it. Simon Davey is the Odejayi of managers - probably very good in the division below, but if we rely on him, that's where we'll end up.
Still feeling despondent then mate? I know how you are feeling, but remeber this is Barnsley we support and things are never easy, that would take all the fun out of it. Still think we will be safe come May. I think others will **** it up more than us , not that we will go on an unbeaten run or owt.
RE: Still feeling despondent then mate? Cheers mate (Y) One thing is for sure - we'll still be Barnsley fans next season. Let's hope it's in this division.
Course we will and even if the worst thing happens and we do go down, we will still be supporters, its in your blood, you cant get it out. BarnsleyFC for life , not just the good times.
RE: Course we will That's the thing. And it's worth it. When I met Neil Redfearn we got talking about the Premier League days, and I said 'they were great days' 'Aye' he said 'And they can never take them off us'. (worship)
RE: Correct, we have had worse times than this and come out the other side stronger. nt This sketc oops thread is 2 Yorkshiremen short.
