With Muller going back to Germany, we need another Goalkeeper. we need to be realistic on who we bring it. i reckon that we should try sign Donavan Rickets. the ex Bradford City \'Keeper. everytime i have seen him play, he has been outstanding. I think he plays in America now. So i doubt he will come back to the Wonderful County of Yorkshire. Another one who has impressed me on several occasions is Dea Gerken from Colchester. It will be hard convincing someone to come in and be second fiddle to Steele. but onmly time will tell.
Donovan Ricketts??!! Are you serious?! He's the laughing stock at Bradford. I know a few Bradford fans and they say apart from the odd blinder he's completely useless, and having seen him on TV a few times, I know what they mean. He played well against us once, yes I remember it. Do not judge a player on ONE game.
Ricketts has been in fantastic form for Los Angeles this season. Can't see him wanting to leave to come here to play behind Steele.
Nicky Weaver relased by Charlton........ decent keeper at this level Hannerman was released by reading but I reckon he'd want big wages....... Weaver on the other hand has always looked decent keeper, but has never won acollades and hasn't always been first choice at clubs he has played for....

RE: Donovan Ricketts??!! Members on here make judgements on players from edited highlights on Match of the Day so there is no chance of them not casting an opinion in stone once they have watched a player play a full game live!
He was also denied access to UK lat Manchester airport ast time he tried to return from international duty, which led to the end of his days at Bradford. Something to do with a passport problem.
