    Colgan
    Austin
    Reid
    Carbon
    Hassell
(If Carbon and Hassell are still injured for the game - Williams left back, Tongue right back with Austin centre)
    Devaney
    Burns
    Mcphail
    Hayes
    Wright

    Nice selection problems for Ritchie:
Centre of midfield - Burns, Mcphail, Howard, Kell.
Upfront - Hayes, Wright, Nards, Richards.

RE: be given a rest, on bench

What has tonge got to do to impress the fans of barnsley?? MOM for me on saturday and only gets in your side if other people are fit! the regular subs as you could say, are expected to turn it on when they get picked because the regular first teamers are injured. it's not that easy if they are only getting 5 or 10 minuites every other week. the young lads on the bench have done a great job for the club with very little praise.

I'll be glad to see McPhail back. We haven't passed the ball as well....

over the last few weeks and McP might get us back playing that way......hopefully!!

I agree, McPhail although disappointing last season IS a quality player and before he was injured was starting to do the business. Quite a lot of times we get dragged into playing the game the opposition want due to lack of players who can dictate the pace - McPhail is definitely one of them players. Although I appreciate Burns for his workrate he doesn't retain posession particularly well - any thoughts?

    Hayes should play

Things started to happen at Chesterfield once he came on! Too light weight up front without him!

According to main site Hassel is doubtful and Vaughan ( said earlier in week that he was back in full training at Oakwell) is injured! What price on Kell making his debut in Defence?
