... Grzegorz Szamotulski? This is what Four-Four-Two magazine has to say about him:

Why buy? Szamo has proved himself a commanding keeper in his short spell at Tannadice. A born leader, outstanding shot-stopper and all-round brick wall, his clean sheets have been the backbone of United's SPL revival. He has pedigree - 13 caps for Poland; spells at Legia Warsaw and Sturm Graz - and he will be a free agent come January. Having signed a six-month contract with United to cover Lukasz Zaluska's injury, Szamo refuses to extend it out of respect for his compatriot.

Would suit ... An SPL or Championship side with European / promotion ambitions, requiring leadership at the back. Szamo has a 'reputation' and needs a strong manager, but told FFT recently, "I'll never accept players or coaches who don't play to win every game."

scooterking, I hope you're right. Re. Colgan, he's a nice enough guy, but not in the same league as Muller. The very fact that he's not even considered worthy of a place on the bench speaks volumes. Also, I would like to know why he doesn't train with Muller during the warm-up - chip on his shoulder, perhaps?

I sincerely hope that Davey doesnt take any notice

of what is in FF2 magazine or this site when it comes to chosing players he wants.

I dont read FF2 but would be surprised if it suggested Muller, Souza, Werling, Foster etc as excellent prospects for a championship club - or tipped us off regarding the availlability on on loan of Da Silva and Macken . - Certainly this BBS didnt.

great keeper, giant of a man, and nicknamed...

    ..The Monk.

with Celtic, Hearts and others sniffing around, i don't think we'll get him if Muller leaves.
