I think this season we should play kay in midfield rather than defence, he needs to get back to the form he was in when he won player of the year, or was it young POTY? We need sum1 who cud be a redfern, thought we had found him when gary jones came bt then he deteriorated as time went on. Possibly Kay cud become the new redfern? Needs to get his confidence back n start geting sum goals from midfield. Whats every1 else think?
RE: JARMAN,JARMAN,JARMAN,JARMAN Agreed, shud be involved more this season, see if he can progress up to first team level and challenge 4 a place, wud make it interesting them and give plenty of options. Hes also amazing on FM 2005 banging 30 goals per season for me!
RE: Hmm... yep, I know what ya mean. Would love to see an experienced c/h come in, one that would get the defence organised(OOoo Gerry, Gerry?), then I think we would be onto a real winner... But it is, as I say, only " on paper". I 've never seen Kell,Hayes or Howard play, so I wouldn't like to pass judgement. UUUUUREEEDDZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
good point about the redderz thing. We have never replaced him, doubt if we ever will. Kay did look good that season,lets hope he can regain his form..I suppose he is still only young, as is most of the side for that matter.(Y)

I think austin should deffinatly be in, i like his style of play with the tigerish tackles, seen as we have got plenty of midfilders i would have reid at the back and give williams left back, give him a chance to make it his own. The question is who else out of hassle, vaughn, carbon possibly kay if hes nt used in midfield. Hassle finished well last year but nearly every team has got one, sumtimes 2 big strikers so hassle will struggle with height. Carbon only plays 3 games in a row and then goes on the injury table, so we are left with vaughn. I cant decide if i like him or not. one game hes gud and the next hes terrible eg. donni away. its a hard choice to make and im glad i dont personally have to decide. Maybe the only opyion is to get sum1 new in?
RE: hes got to bring in a centre half... Yeah i agree, i think the ones we have now wud be able to fill in when we need them to with injuries n suspensions. but we need sum1 to form a solid partnership, everyone talkin bout taggert bt does any1 know of anyone else available?
RE: hes got to bring in a centre half... id like to see taggart back but we missed our chance last season when he wanted to come back and PHart wouldnt sign him, vaughan cost us lots of points last season and he would have been the first one id got rid of

no ideas no but just think of all the defenders weve had in the past Morgan, Dejeew, Taggart, Mcarthy, Evans, Hunter, Winstanley just to name a few makes our present bunch look a right waste of time. Still fingers crossed somebody might surprise us
