We played well and could easily have won that one against a team that has had £££Millions spent on it
In saying that, I think Leicester will be there or there abouts at the end of the season
    Comments;
    Drinkwater - good signing
Foster - as always, good defender but his distribution is shocking. How can we play a passing game with him in the side.
    Perkins - great motor
    Done - done nowt
Gray - tried his utmost but still not a threat
Butters - best player on the field
    McNulty - excellent

Done - done nowt? He had a cracking game. Gray too, he could have had a header at least and was in the box plenty.

Mcnulty excellent, thought he was our worst player today.

Done he did ok would like to see him bulk up a bit he was too easy knocked off the ball.

I thought done played quite well both attacking and when he had to cover the full back, faded a bit in the 2nd half but overall he did well.

Gray put a good shift in and worked hard, I'm not a gray fan at all but fair play to the bloke he did well today.

Butterfield was wasteful and poor with his decision choices in the first half but improved greatly in the 2nd half and actually grafted instead of running at the side of the opposing midfielder in possession.

Mcnulty big improvement on mceveley, looked knackered towards the end.

Also a big shout for O'brien who had his best game in ages.

Today we looked like a team who epitomised Keith hills principles: hard working, honest, expansive football and most importantly "a team" and a team today that we can be proud of..... Long may it continue

McNulty had a fantastic game. Great cross for the goal, very good defensively and comfortable on the ball with some neat passing from the back. Foster also had a great game and I thought his distribution was good actually.

Got to slightly disagree with some of that

Steele- 7.5 wasn't really forced into any big saves, but was very comfortable in the air and matched his opposite number despite the price tags

Hassell- 7.0 Ever dependable Bobby Hassell, got better when moved to centre half, think he had a difficult afternoon against Vassell and Beckford, but managed to keep them under wraps for the majority.

Foster- 7.5 Thought it was a very solid defensive performance from Steve, who seems to ebe getting back to his best, his distribution does let him down though sometimes.

Edwards- 7.5- Had a very good game, just goes to show that it isn't the price you pay, it the player you purchase which counts.

McNulty- 8.0 as I was in the friendlies, I was very impressed with McNulty, a much more composed left back than McEverly, got down the wing very well for the goal.

Drinkwater- 9.0 Brilliant home debut for the young lad, covered every blade of grass, looked very no nonsense and looks dangerous at either end of the pitch.

Perkins- 8.5 Was absolutly faultless in the first half, broke play down in midfield countless times and looks much better inside, rather than out wide.

Butterfield- 8.5 Another fine game from the clubs most promising player. Glad he got on the scoresheet as so far this season, he's been our biggest goal threat and hasn't quite got the goal.

O'Brien- 8.5- The best performance i've seen from O'Brien, playing like that he'll be difficult to shake from the team, showed what he has always promised,

Done- 8.0- Good display from Done, threatened early on, ran out of steam towards the end, hope his injury isn't serious.

Gray- 9.0 As a fan of Andy's I was glad to see him play well yesterday. That role suited him yesterday, something it hasn't done in the last 2 or 3 years when he's played up front on his own. However playing him in that role means we'll rely on goals from midfield, and i'm still not sure we've got goals in our midfield, hopefully Butterfield will weigh in with a few. MOM for me.
