We did not get a kick in the first 10 minutes
During that time we were under a load of presure but it was plain to see we were watching a different Barnsley team - the confidence coming from the team during that time could be felt in the stands
We need another goalkeeper and 2 central defenders and promotion is quarenteed
The crowd did not seem to be as big as 9.3K but the noise from the Ponti was louder than 99% of last season.
Man of the match was Nicky Rowe - extrordinary performance
The team worked hard for each other and was cruising at the end
The goalkeeper is probably the best shot stopper in the division but dosen't command his own area
Kay is not a central defender but is still the best midfielder we have got
Hayes is class - what a buy
Conlon has lost a stone? and looks sharp
    Nardiello is on fire
The team defends from the front
Players make themselves available for the pass
Howard will need to work very hard to get a place in front of Williams
Richie comes out of the box and puts his arm round players and talks to them
Holdens contribution is a massive plus
Fantastic togetherness shown by all the team

    Regards

PS. if it stays like this, you need to get down there and have a look

How can man of the match be a player that only plays about 30 mins?!

Yes he did very well but MotM?!

    I'd give it to

Carbon, on today's performance. Calm, assured, willing to back his teammates....but, this seems to be the same with Reid and Vaughan too when they play alongside Kay. Even if Kay doesn't have a good game, they do - pair any of them without Kay and it doesn't seem to work as well? Is he a player that can make the rest of the side perform even if he doesn't? If he is, we're surely onto a good 'un.

Agree about Carbon - won everything today

    Sitting where you do...

it's not too surprising you see the same game I do! Other end of pitch but similar angle.

I do find it odd that Kay + Carbon/Vaughan/Reid works but Carbon + Vaughan, Carbon + Reid and Vaughan + Reid don't seem to?
