Please do not post highlights links on the BBS. We received a letter from The Football Leagues solicitors threatening us with legal action last season and do not want to end up in court.
Ta
Site Admin

Don't know the answer to this, but can they stop you from linking to youtube? Its not your fault somebody else posted the highlights there, and you are not linking to premium tv.
RE: don't suppose you know I don't know to be honest.
I do wonder if there's much the football league could do about people posting links to content but it would be too expensive to find out

Put it this way... ... in the light of what has happened in the past, do we really wan't to chance our arm and become a test case ?
Let someone else test the leagalities of it !!!!

RE: Put it this way... Thats fair enough, I just wondered. Youtubes search works pretty well, so its not hard to find, and its only a matter of time until premium tv crack down on it.
I agree the argument before was regarding Premium TV content but the we're still talking about Football League copyrights.
Getting involved in a legal argument with the Football League would be an expensive way of finding out the legalities.

RE: Put it this way... fair doos !!! is you tube in it's infancy? if so is it a bit like Napstar before that was ahem... 'challenged' ?
