Potential breakthrough in the Al Hilli murders

Strange case in 2012, where the British Iraqi family were murdered in the Alps....if this report is correct several former French Police and secret service people have been arrested following another assassination attempt.

I was living in Geneva at the time. Me and my Mrs drove past that exact spot the day before when we had a day out in Annecy.

I remember being shocked that such violence could occur in such a quiet and beautiful part of the world.

Speculation at the time was that the cyclist murdered was the intended target and that the Al Hillis were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

 

wonder if they was really after al murray and phone line was bad, he does get a bit annoying

 

Followed this story at the time it happened & it’s genuinely baffling.

The craziest bit of it all is when you think it’s something to do with either the husband or the cyclist you then find out that the wife’s ex-husband died of a heart attack on the same day as the shootings in America.
