Seeing as we're looking to sign a centre half what feasible names can we come up with, left footed centre halves I might add.I'll start with Taggart or even the lad on trial Grant.

Not my choice in particular but he does fit the bill as a strong left footed centre half.Just trying to see what other names we can come up with.

What must Lait, Harban & Joynes feel if they are bringing in trialists from other clubs. Are we saying we are now signing youngsters that ain't good enuff. Bet it does their egos good. I've seen tha Grant and he is no better that what youngsters we already have.

Get to Moss Rose and get Jon Parkin back!!

Built like a brick sh*te-house and not only can he play as a stopper centre-half (his original position when he started out with BFC), he can also play up front AND score goals! Just what we need! :D

Still lives locally as well, I believe.

He's big and he's brutish - plus he can score goals!

Not everybody's cup of tea, I grant you - but you don't get out of this division playing 'fancy dan' football, as we all know only too well.

Darren Moore is a bit of a donkey as well, but has similar attributes. We need a commanding centre half who doesn't p*ss about when defending. Ooh Gerry, Gerry may fulfil that role - but I'm not convinced. I think many of those who are calling for him to return as remembering him as he was, and not as he is now.

Both Laight and Atkinson are good centre backs but both are right footed,I would think we are after a left sided player to cover or take over from Carbon.

We dont get paid to trawl the football clubs for suitable centre halves..........

    There are plenty out there
But the two that they bring in must be 30 - 35 year old
    With plenty of experience
    Leaders
Who can do the job for maybe 1 to 3 seasons
