Without Adam Davies we would be in dire straights, yes he has had his moments but his good times far outweigh his bad.
They do and I'm a fan of Davies. He makes the odd monumental **** up but most keepers do. I just feel that because the defence has been so good this season that he hasn't been busy enough to get a nomination. That's no criticism of him though.
Hasn't he made more saves than any other 'keeper in the Championship? I'm sure I read that was the case.
1. Josh Scowen 2. Marley Watkins 3. Marc Roberts It's great that it's so difficult to pick a clear winner as lots of players have had really strong seasons. Hourihane would be the clear winner even though he's missed half a season, but you can't give it to a Villa player!
Vote for whoever you wouldn't mind f**king off at the end of the season. Seems to happen more often than not.
Quite a few contenders this seasons, but for me the player I`ve most enjoyed watching is Marc Roberts.
Davies and Roberts are the obvious two, for me. After that it could be anyone from Watkins, Scowen, Yiadom or MacDonald.
Davies Roberts Yiadom In that order. Honourable mentions to Scowan and McDonald The loanees don't get a look in.
