I work in PPI complaints. So long as you have an account number (loan/mortgage/credit card etc) then you can try your luck. Do it yourself though, don't bother with one of these Claims Management Companies. They take about 25% of what you get back and basically just send a letter to the bank with your name on ot and get you to fill in the FOS questionairre which is available online.

A lot of people were told they wouldn't get the loan if they didn't take PPI out, which was ********. Others were also led to believe that they couldn't take PPI out with anyone else other than their bank. These are the sort if things which aren't even listed in the small print.

I've done hbos loans mortgages and cards, data gather review re-review and redress. Now on lloyds mortgages, qc'ing review and re-review.
Yeah at Westbank, started about a month ago. It was advertised as review but im on data gather for the time being. Finding it pretty comfortable at the minute.
