Praise first - good to see Connell get some time tonight. Given how long it's been I thought he did ok. And Jalo looked sharp, scored a good goal, was also unlucky a couple of times and at times his vision is excellent. Four grumbles unfortunately. 1. Late this afternoon we made the decision to attend. We hadn't got a ticket so queued at the pay on the day turnstile. Got 3 from the front and the operator announced he couldn't let anyone else in as he'd run out of tickets. FFS - how amateurish! We moved to the other cash/ card turnstile but couldn't get in there either as the card machine was apparently down. So had to walk round to the ticket office to get tickets to get in. Really, really poor BFC! 2. Our defending for their first goal was appalling. And against amateur players we looked vulnerable. Defensively we continue to struggle at home. 3. No comment on their third goal as tbh I couldn't see whether he was on or off but I had a good view of the penalty and imo it was a terrible decision. The standard of refereeing is so bad right now! 4. I hate the play across the back three, forward to the wing backs and then back into the back three and repeat. It's largely non-progressive and with the odd exception when we manage to do it slightly quicker and the wing back can get forward, just bores me. It also doesn't help that Cadden appears to be the only one who can beat a man, Dodgson, O'Keeffe and Cotter all want to turn back inside and go backwards.
