As some of you know Calgary Tyke was hoping to make the game with her Oldham supporting husband, with their kids as mascots. The postponement is a huge disappointment. Fair play to Laurie though. Made every effort to keep them informed, and called several times today to arrange for the kids to meet the players tomorrow and be mascots v Boro. He's made every effort to ensure that they have a special day.
That's excellent news. Laurie is a top bloke, a true gentleman. He couldn't do enough for Laura when she was a mascot (nearly ten years ago).
They made the alternative mascot arrangements on Friday i hear. That was a Joke by the way !!! Great to here they aren't going to be overly disappointed and that they were kept informed throughout. Hope things go well for them and they enjoy Saturdays game and their trip over.
