We're all quick enough to have a go at SAD, but credit where credit is due......... thought he got it spot on last.

Im no Darren moore fan, but that match was made for him last nite. The one attacking option they had was the big hoof, he can stand under those all day and head them (never sure which direction its gonna go but he puts his head on it)..... and it is comical when he gets ball at his feet ----like watching KO shoot!!!!

Decision to play Colace and Anderson was spot on, (we all know Leon is light weight) they looked solid together, Colace is no nonsense, sat back and freed up deSilva to move forward and knock ball about. Just wish they have a shot every now and then. Still think were short here since that bloke with big white teeth went for bigger n better things! but with what we had available spot on

And to change it upfront...... thought macken n Hume worked their socks off.

Even made the substitutions id agree with, change both front men late on

One other point... end of game, went to every player and then finally came ova to Ponty applauding. Took some doing (even after beating that lot) and got a decent reception.

Well done Simon, lets have more of the same satdy

    YOU REDS!

That last sentence holds the key, my views on Davey are well known to all who know me and he hasn't even scratched the surface of my apathy towards him. Great result last night should even have been 2 or 3 up before H/T but it didn't convinceus sceptics of the first degree.

    To be honest

Im still not convinced, still get the impression he gets there occasionally through trial and error (after a lot of both) and the law of averages says it will come off sometime. Thought substitution wise he left it late too. Time will tell though and like everybody says I would be delighted to be proved wrong. But hey its all down to opinion.

i dont really think davey needed to do owt to get the players up for this match to be honest the fans made it clear how much they wanted this. this derby cannot be classed as a normal game to judge davey by. also neil austin was in the executive boxes last night wanting to see davey get sacked. sour grapes perhaps????

Did anyone see him on Calendar where he said "the knives will always be out for him."
I think he's got the message now that some of us don't like him
