He's far from out of his depth, didn't look great when we first signed him but has looked good in the centre and him playing there gives howard more chance to get forward

We seem to have a well balanced midfield at the moment ,with McCann and Togwell giving extra protection to the defence which allows Howard the chance to bomb forward.

We retained far more of the possession on Tuesday and thus did not give it away needlessly resulting in it coming straight back at our defence. McCann was instrumental in this retention. He did a lot of simple short passes that were not defence splitting but certainly lubricated the play well. He played an important role in my view. And one that we have not had in previous matches.

    Very good signing.

Same can be said for Eckersley.

    And hopefully the 2 Hungarians.

    Agree.

I am pretty impressed with our signings

I'm not daft though and they have to perform on the pitch.

I cannot see our Club, under Gordon Shepherd paying out silly money and 6 figure sums without the players having being exhaustively checked as to calibre, fitness etc andthen again re-checked as being up to the Championship L (hidebehindsofa) (hidebehindsofa) eague.

    Let;s face it.

We have either diamonds or coal.

    Time will tell

    So

Howard moves to left wing and scores 2 goals in 2 games and suddenly you prefer him in centre midfield?

    Even worse

He'll keep talking about Chelsea, and then say "Who do you play for?"

    RE: Even worse

He looks like Harrow Tyke anyway. Just introduce your Michael to Harrow Tyke and tell him it's Grant McCann.
