Thought he was excellent. Tried to play advantage & brought it back if required. Can't think of a decision to argue with - other than maybe Dickenson was lucky with a yellow.
What about disallowing a perfectly good goal To award a penalty? I thought he did everything to help them stay in the game Should have given at least 3 yellow cards to WBA.
That might have been a blessing in disguise. Hume got his goal, hopefully he'll be banging 'em in now.
Tried to play advantage Except when the ball was going in the net and he pulled it back to give the penalty, and then didn't even book their player. He was a joke, got loads of decisions wrong. Hume tripped over Macken in the middle of the field and he gave us a free kick!
RE: Tried to play advantage there was a player between macken and hume when he fell over that slid in
RE: What about disallowing a perfectly good goal He blew for the penalty long before the ball went in the net so he couldn't play advantage.
I thought he was average and got the big decisions wrong. Dickinson should have been sent off, he didn't give any advantage for the penalty, their player should have been sent off for the push for the pen (clear goal scoring opportunity!) and we could have had another pen in the second half for a push on Foster.
Did it actually go in? Couldn't see from where I was. If it went in it was a very bizarre decision to give a penalty instead of a goal.
and a straight red for Dickinson in the first 20mins at 0-0!! thought he did ok for us in the long run. Many a ref would have sent him off and the result would have been very dfferent. He'd blown long before the ball got close to the net, and it was still unsure as to whether it went in anyway. All in all steady, made even better by 100% from every red! Class one touch football, and better still closing down opposition in 2's, one go one hold, classic Man U! Well done Robins, and thanks!
Robins said the ref came and apologised.. ..for blowing too early with the penalty decision. He said Jon Macken's header was over the line.
If hume didn't score i would have been mad but has he did i say thanks ref. He didnt have the worst of games either.
RE: Did it actually go in? Yes it was a good yard behind the line. He must have blown for the penalty has soon has the cross went over
Should've awarded us a penalty in the 2nd half For one of the most blatant pushes on Foster known to man kind. How he missed it i'll never know. We hardly ever get 1 penalty at Oakwell though so i suppose we should be happy with that. /poo
should he **** have been sent off, glad your not a ref the player made it look worse he didn,t touch him.thats it send someone off and ruin the game.
