At work, not at all busy, looking at various sites now and then. Looking for news, forecasts, predictions, whatever. Wheighing up this selection against that selection, trying not to think about how many games to go. Only this one matters today, then we can deal with the next one. To say this one is a "must win game" goes without saying and I am trying to imagine sitting by my computer tonight hearing cheerful, happy commentary along the lines of "Well, Barnsley are now cruising this match at 4-0 up and it is just a case of how many they are going to get. The Hungarian strike force have just been SENSATIONAL from that first minute opening goal when the number nine leapt to meet a pin point cross from Devaney to power home the opening goal" Fantasy, delusion, blind optimism?? Yes, all of that, but what else have we got to cling on to. Let's face it, Hull are going to come at us hard tonight and if the team in red don't meet them head on it will be another disaster. They have won plenty of matches at Oakwell and we have beaten them often enough on Humberside. Time to redress that tonight and bank the three points. Then another Sky date to look forward to, and then the next one. That's how it is - we will win some, we will lose some. Got to win tonight, no arguments - just GOT to win. Ok, going home now. You people in town don't realise how lucky you are to just be able to nip down to Oakwell. Spare a thought for the long distance fans like me who can't just nip up the M1 on a Tuesday night!
not at all. to a certain extent I've a feeling of 'can't be arsed' this stems back to you know what happening to you know who. That's it... with deference to Rufus, spartacus et al they see things their way,me mine. They won't change my opinion and I damned sure I won't change theirs, which, in fairness, is the way it should be. Nuff said I think.
Im in the same boat as you mate, been kicking my heels all day at work. Cant wait for the game to start now, just hope that the players are up for this tonight or we could be in for a along evening.
Shatting myself at the prospect of listening to internet commentary Always so much more nerve wracking than being at the game.
In fact, I think I might watch Champions League instead and forget the match is on till full time.

RE:" I think I might watch Champions League instead and forget the match is on till full time" Wouldn't bank on that working.
