I think some people are hoping that Pep will be waving a magic wand between now and 18th August but it's not happening. Based on everything you want to take into consideration where do people think we will finish this season. Just reply and state the position.
Those that are negative pessimists will still be negative pessimists if we win the league. Those that are positive optimists will still be positive optimists if we get relegated. Both groups will still continue to go and watch us regardless. However, only the latter of those groups will enjoy themselves or get any pleasure from supporting BFC, and consequently be happier people. I like being in the latter group.
-I doubt we will ever get out of the bottom 5 anytime in the season. -I think we will be relegated. -Steele and anyone else decent will be gone by the end of January. -Crowds< 6000 well before the end of the season. -My last season watching the reds. Regarding the last point; even if we stay up I expect it to be my last season - obscene wages for over hyped footballers is killing the game. It's only through habit that I'll start going this season.
Re: bottom 3 My heart says relegated. My head agrees. But I'm 'hopeful' of much better things. And whilst I may be predicting our demise, it doesn't mean I'll like it, nor accept it. But if we do go down, I hope to see more fight in this squad. Because, to go a full 48 games last season without reversing a deficit appalled me. Pussies.
Its what I predict will happen. As for on the pitch, anything could happen. We might be amazing, we might be rubbish. I personally think we will do well with the limited resources we have on offer, so long as we don't repeat our usual January approach of knackering the manager who takes all the flack for poor second half performance. 18th.
20th, which would be a good result considering if the league table was worked out by budget, we'd be relegated at Christmas. IF, we get relegated, ill watch Barnsley in league 1, ill be gutted, but its not the end of the world
22nd, 23rd or 24th No other options are available or acceptable, as this is indicative of being unrealistic and ignorant of the club's current situation.
Only £3.5m? Thats disgusting... when will the board learn and get people on 5 year contracts to maximise a players true value?!?!?
