Selling tickets for their game v Plymouth Saturday at 5 quid adults and a quid kids. In a attempt to pack Deepdale in a relegation 6pointer. Pne still need another point at least 3 points off the drop and have Plymouth who need to win and Bristol city last day who could still need points to secure play offs. If we had waited we could have had hecky back this summer possibly.
Just had a look how much ours our for last home match. £28 for an adult for a meaningless game. Absolutely shocking pricing that
I remember us doing that in the championship. We played Forest at home & they made it £5 to try & get as many fans in as possible to roar us to victory. Not sure how much chanting scabs for two hours helped the players but it was definitely lively.
Idiots can't be trusted to stay off the pitch at the last home game. So if we let people in for say a tenner to try and get a bumper crowd, we would probably be out of pocket from all the extra security staff we'd need.
Was looking at going this weekend, but not paying them prices. Not just the prices putting me off though, we would would have to park in the Car Park due to mobility issues so the farce there has put us off too. Instead of season tickets at Oakwell, we now have them at Wakefield Trinity. 10x better service, value for money and match day experience.
