At HT today, a young kid right behind the goal got smacked in the face pretty hard from a wayward Stevie Mallan shot. The stewards who were stood close by never even came over to see if he was OK and neither did Mallan, who saw it clearly - he literally just shrugged and walked off.

    Pretty poor imo.

Hope the young lad was OK.

Yes. If he saw it, he should have come over.

This is the problem signing someone from the Scottish Championship. You'd have to be very unlucky to hit a spectator at St Mirren.

Mallan acknowledged it. Waved back when he knew kid was ok.
Agree he could have gone over though ......

I wondered what the problem was. It seemed to me that Mallan was actually concerned that he'd hit someone but wasn't really sure.

I saw that as well. Not sure Mallan just shrugged and walked away. The person it hit literally didn’t move/react to getting hit (from what I could see) so I’m guessing Stevie didn’t really know what to do.

The ball hit him square in the kite. He literally didn't move for about 3 minutes.

...and he did just shrug and walk away.

Was he sat near the corner flag?

Judging by our scoring record recently.
