Does anyone know why my Canon Pixma 3000 refuses to print labels?</p>

It prints everything else. But put a sheet of labels in and it refuses, saying it is out of paper. Yet it will print the labels on a plain sheet no problem.</p>

I cannot see any settings for different types of paper, and in any case the sheet of labels is Avery and no difference to normal paper.</p>

Suspect the paper is thinner or it's not managing to feed the paper through
