I need to reinstall my printer, but can't find the disc .. is there somewhere online I can get the installation Wizard?
Google the name of the printer + driver and you should be able to download it </p> e.g For Epson 440 ( v.old I know) type Epson 440 + driver into google . It should give you a few placesto get it fromor try tghe makers own website - they'll probably have it too.</p>
RE: Canon Pixma iP5200 nt </p> Assuming it's an inkjet and they've just missed the Prixma bit off the printer name then I think this is what you need.</p> http://www.download.com/Canon-IJ-Printer-Driver-Canon-iP5200/3000-2116_4-10556270.html?tag=lst-1</p>
Tried to install it manually without disc But when I get to Manufacturer & name of printer on wizard, there must be 30 odd options, none of which seem to match the name of my printer. Think it's one of the Bubble jet options but it's not clear which one. (dunno)
Downloaded it (or thought I had, but can't find it now!!) Think it might have been blocked by pop-up blockers or something?! I think it would be easier to turn the house upside down & find the installation disc. Once downloaded where will the driver be?!!
Good news/ Bad news Successfully installed this onto pc.... went to print & it doesn't recognise the printer.... went back to site, downloaded for printer ip5200, unzipped it & can't find it now to complete the installation. Where will it be?! (seestars)
Ask the girls, they probably know more about the computer than you and their dad! Hope you fix it soon.
Sad but true They also know plenty about downloading viruses which is the reason I'm having to re-install evrything in the first place!! (doh)
