    the new website is fekking sh ite and virtually unusable....is this a marketing ploy by the don so they don't have to be bothered doing owt?

    Utter crap..............much better before they changed it.

    It is the worst site on the www for useability. Like you, and many others I am sure, I have totally stopped using it. Another revenue stream they obviously don't give a **** about.

    Agreed its utter crap but there seems to be a trend for these unusable websites - just look at the new BBC sports site.

    that chuffin pop-up that decides to show up a few seconds after the site saying 'enter site' is the worst bit, i find it completely unusable on my phone as well so i get my news elsewhere these days.

    there's even a poll at the bottom regarding the new design, the general consensus being it is GASH - will they change it? will they heck, the company who runs the sites for most of the Football League clubs will have invested thousands on the redesign so they'll want to get at least a couple of years out of it.

    fixing the audio commentary on the player site should be their priority though, I know it's only a couple of quid a month but I pay that because I want to know what's going on at games I haven't gone to, the Sky vidiprinter gets more appealing every week.

    The BBC I find ok now I have familiarised with it. I have tried to do the same with BFC's but have given it up totally now. People want quick navigation etc, I spend more time wondering where to click. The entry page that pops up randomly and the lack of scrolling with the arrow keys (essential on a laptop) just add to the frustration. I have tried it on my phone too but it really is a non-starter, unless you have got an hour to spare to finds the most basic of information.

    well that may be so but my website is under construction and will be out at some point..... i personally wouldn't let the public loose on my website until it is ready and usable...the BFC one is as i have said...utter crap.

    Definately a step backwards.

    Can't believe how long it takes to load. It was bad before, but when I heard they were changing it I assumed that they would address that issue.
    Well they have ... they've made it even slower.

    Not sure who did it but they obviously have a deal with the league, as most clubs have the same style, so before we start the Don bashing it may be that its out of our control.

    But for probably the first (and last) time I find myself in agreement with thereev :) ... its gash, utter gash :nails:

    The old site was terrible

    The worst site on the net that I visited by some distance. But this new one is even worse. I don't know how they've managed that. It's just unusable. Not fit for purpose.
