I get all sorts of problems with firefox

It freezes. It disappears. It sometimes runs in the background so you have to reboot to get it working again.

The most annoying one is the old Bookmarks disappearing trick. I have to make a backup every couple of weeks just in case. How come this happens to some people and not others? Bizarre.

    Download and reinstall

My son had the same problem on his laptop, also after it crashed the machine ran extremely slow. Reinstall fixed it ok. I always use firefox, much better than IE.

Some things only seem to work in IE (Virgin Media clips for example), but if you go to the Firefox download site and get "IE Tab" works a treat.

yes, but it is still some files left i guess, and that could cause that it is no changes when you re-installed it
