    Click on settings in top right corner, the on the left it says edit profile picture.

    Is it actually a profile picture you're trying to upload or an avatar? The one on the left (e.g. my bloke drinking wine) is an avatar.

    Just below edit profile picture is Edit Avatar Picture - Change Avatar Picture and it should display it on the forum as well

    It worked though. It's a flag. I can see it.

    An "avatar" is just a picture too (although it can be an animated one like mine) but it's the one that people see next to your posts. The profile picture is just for when nosy people go to look at your profile.
