I have a feeling that a lot of programs go on reusing the same old formula and become a bit of a cliche.
They should have quit when they were still seen as innovative and interesting - probably after the 3rd series - but no they go on and on

Can anyone think of any examples?

The programmes I can think of shouldn't even have got to series 3.

24 should have stopped after series 2.
I would have said Lost should have stopped after series 2 but it's picked up in 2nd half of this series.
Big Brother - well that should have finished after the first series.
    'Allo 'allo after the first.

in fact it should never have ben given air time period....luckily I have managed to see absolutely non of the dammed shows, but did have my TV poluted by adverts for it...and the media absolutely choked by it....how sad that people could sit and watch a show like that.

I think Little Britain falls into the 2 series category.

    The Fast Show as well
