    That just proves coincidences happen. You honestly think they "stole" Joe Satrianis song? Do you even think Coldplay listens to Joe Satriani??

    Joe Satriani is obviously pissed that Coldplays song what coincidently sounds like his got to 1st in the chart.

    I won't deny that it's similar, and that this Satriani fellow could undoubtedly win the lawsuit, but even if he does, I don't really care. It won't stop me from listening to Viva La Vida (which I consider quite superior to If I Could Fly) or anything else by Coldplay. Artists steal all the time. Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs is pretty much the Ringo Lam movie City On Fire redone in English, and he reportedly stole a lot of material from his friend and writing partner Roger Avary without compensating him. People still cream themselves over his films. Same goes for that jackass who wrote the Eragon series. His novels largely rip off both Lord Of The Rings and Star Wars, yet here he is, a bestselling author with an extremely devout fanbase.
