4 cars a day misfuelled - I assume with petrol into a diesel tank as it needs a funnel to get it wrong the otherway and I doubt they could figure that out. How hard can it be We have one petrol and one diesel car and somehow always manage to match the pump to the car http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_3353659.html?menu=news.quirkies
Based on my experience of the police officers i meet I'm not in the least bit surprised by this. I'm amazed some of them can tie their own shoe-laces.
You would be surprised how many reps at our company do this Not the most dificult task in the world is it? I do remember having my brand new car delivered to work, and i sent one of the lads out to fill it up, yep, he put diesel in it on the first day !!
When i calmed down and asked him how he did it? he said "because i drive a diesel at home" priceless.

Exactly how many officers have you met and what brings you to this conclusion? I take it you're a University professor then?
RE: Exactly how many officers have you met and what brings you to this conclusion? No I'm not but I do have a degree and more importantly I like to think I have a reasonable amount of common sense. You're right though I shouldn’t generalise or let my personal views on the way our police offices conduct themselves cloud my judgement. That said however the stats in this post do suggest that there are quite a large proportion of numb-nuts amongst them.
A million quid wasted And they'll only offer me £200 quid to repair my door that they smashed in for nothing. It's no wonder people think the plod are useless.
I also have a degree and a post grad qualification. I am now a Police officer and have never put diesel in my petrol engine. Sorry, but with all the stuff on here recently about people generalising about race, creed, colour, occupation, nationality etc I 'bit' to your post. I try and do a bloody good job and often get narrow minded bigots telling me I'm a thick, bullying tw*t when I try my best to help people. I am inno way saying you are a narrow minded bigot, and appreciate the intelligent response - thank you.
Don't think it will have been smashed in for nothing. Was it mistaken address? What are circumstances before jumping to the useless conclusion?
Sorry if I appeared to generalise or if I offended you. I haven't always been this cynical towards the police but the way I've been treated when dealing with some officers over the last five years or so have realigned my views, unfortunately to the negative. Still I would always show them the respect their uniforms deserve and I have brought my kids up to respect them too. I’m always balanced and fair.
